As a “food enthusiast” my career path lead me to the field of Nutrition and Dietetics where I worked in the hospital setting for 10 years. My career at Caring Medical has been an interesting one, having been here since the very beginning when we had two staff members and a couple of little treatment rooms. I have received my “MBA” through the school of hands-on experience, along with a great team of consultants who have tutored me along the way. My medical experience in the hospital setting prepared me for my ultimate career – CEO of a medical clinic and nutritional store. I love my job and the people I work with! Why? Because we are passionate about what we do! We help people utilizing some absolutely amazing treatments! I know, I have had most of them myself!
Education: I received my Masters of Science degree in Nutrition from Eastern Illinois University and completed my Dietetic Internship at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Charleston, Illinois. I received my BS degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in Nutrition. Go Illini! I am a licensed and registered dietitian, board certified in Metabolic Nutrition, an Associate in Enzyme Nutrition, and a certified Phlebotomist.
Chief Executive Officer of Caring Medical: I am currently the CEO of Caring Medical & Rehabilitation Services. Although I enjoyed patient care very much, I am simply no longer able to see patients due to my responsibilities of running of the clinic. I am the chief financial officer, director of marketing, and Team Leader of the Caring Medical management team. I work closely with Caring Medical’s team of qualified consultants, work on business development and management, accounting, web design and marketing. I also oversee and contribute to Caring Medical’s multitude of written materials, including brochures, patient handouts, website materials, and e-newsletters. Television and Media: I am considered a well-known speaker and writer on a variety of topics related to natural medicine and nutrition. Most recently I am a regular health expert on Total Living Network’s “Total Living with Jerry Rose,” providing information for weekly TV shows on a variety of health topics. For more information about viewing these shows, see our resources section of this web site.
Along with my husband, Dr. Ross Hauser, I co-authored a national best seller entitled "Prolo Your Pain Away!, Curing Chronic Pain with Prolotherapy" along with a four-book topical mini series of Prolotherapy books. We have also written a 900-page sports book that discusses the use of Prolotherapy for sports injuries, as well as other topics including nutrition, surgery, x-rays, cortisone shots, MRI’s and other aspects of sports medicine. It is one of the most comprehensive books on Sports Medicine available. Every athlete and/or trainer should have a copy. Over 2000 references are listed. Go to www.benuts.com to order your copy of this book and the others we have discussed.
I also co-wrote with my husband “Treating Cancer with Insulin Potentiation Therapy,” published by Beulah Land Press in 2002. This book covers a multitude of topics related to cancer, including cancer cell physiology, treatment of cancer with IPT, diet for cancer, laboratory testing, and a many other fascinating topics. See www.benuts.com for book information.
Senior Editor: With my experience in writing and editing our own books, website material, articles, patient materials, and the like, it has been a natural progression to be working on the Journal of Prolotherapy® as its senior editor. The journal is unique in that its target audience is both the lay public and physicians. Presentation of the material in the journal must be scientific, yet understandable to the lay person. I think you will find it an amazing journal that provides up-and-coming research, scientific articles, and case studies on the topic of Prolotherapy and related subjects. Check it out at www.journalofprolotherapy.com.
Nutritionals: I am the owner and founder of Beulah Land Nutritionals (BLN), located in Suite 612 of the Medical Arts Building in Oak Park, IL. BLN was formed in order to provide high-quality, high-potency nutritional products to the patients of Caring Medical. They offer easy ordering at www.benuts.com, as well as at 708-848-5011. Be Nuts for your health! Check it out! There’s some great stuff over there!
Athlete: I am an avid athlete, having completed
four 26.2-mile marathons, six Olympic Distance Duathlons, and a wide
array of short races such
as 5Ks, 10Ks, and half marathons. I also love cycling, weight-lifting,
and strength training. I enjoy cycling three or four times per week
with a local cycling group and love to take weekends to do long rides,
such as the Horrible Hilly Hundred and the Optimist Rides in Wisconsin.
I realize the importance of exercise for myself personally and have
made it an active part of my life and have been actively training
hard with a coach for another marathon and another century (100 mile)
ride! Check out www.marionhauser.com where
you can read about my recent marathon and various other activities
I am involved in!
We know athletes! I worked hard at getting Caring
Medical Sports Medicine Center up and running with my Ironman
husband Dr.
Ross Hauser. For more information about Dr. Hauser, check
