My desire to become a doctor started when I was a young boy. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to help people. Growing up in a modest middle class home, I am blessed to have been able to accomplish the goal of becoming a Prolotherapy doctor.

My name is Danielle Steilen, MMS, PA-C and I am the Physician Assistant at Caring Medical. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Amherst, MA. Upon completion, I packed up anything and everything that would fit into my car and moved to Illinois.
Here, I earned my Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies at Midwestern University in Downer’s Grove, IL.
My first experience in healthcare was working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility with a primarily geriatric population. It was after this experience that I knew I wanted to further my career in the medical field and become a Physician Assistant. My first experience with Prolotherapy and Caring Medical and Rehabilitation Services was when I completed an elective clinical rotation through Midwestern University at the office. I not only learned a lot about Prolotherapy, but about natural and physical medicine as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here as a student and when an opening for a Physician Assistant became available shortly after my rotation, I was very excited. I quickly jumped on the opportunity as was fortunate enough to join the team here at Caring Medical. I am truly so blessed to be able to work at such a great office with phenomenal staff.
When I am not at the office, I enjoy running, reading any book I can get my hands on, baking, and learning (somewhat successfully!) how to cook.
I look forward to getting to know you, and help you along on the journey to becoming active and pain-free!
