Feeling fatigued and sluggish after eating? That could mean that you ate too much of the foods that you shouldn't be eating. Here is a common list of energy depleting foods.

PASTAS

Doesn't matter whole wheat, white flour, Kamut, green pasta, blue pasta, yellow pasta. Pastas will make you tired, AND you can't hide them under meatballs either and say, "That's an Otter Meal" Eat Pasta - Be tired

BREADS

Whole wheat, whole grain, rye, buckwheat, LO CARB. You can't have it and expect to have energy. Don't be fooled by Lo-Carb breads, eat it, you will be tired.

SUGARY FOODS

Well of course, but some people think granola bars, yogurts, meats covered in bar-b-que sauces and glazes are NOT allowable. If you want to avoid sitting on the couch for a few hours, avoid the sugar!

FRUITS

Raisins, bananas, apples, grapefruits, oranges, not even one. There is no cheating here to get something sweet all that natural sugar is going to knock you out.

GRAINS

Long rice, white rice, brown rice, oats, barley....you can't have them and there is no cheating. When you cheat you only cheat yourself and deprive yourself of energy.

BEER and ALCOHOL

Enough said.
