Natural Medicine Program

At Caring Medical, we try to get back to basics and heal the body in the most natural, simple ways. Although Caring Medical is most known for its use of Prolotherapy to treat pain and sports injuries, addressing ones nutritional and overall health status goes hand-in-hand with healing injuries and optimizing sports performance.

Why get a natural medicine evaluation? Having been in practice at Caring Medical since 1993, Ross and Marion Hauser have developed a program that incorporates the best of the traditional and natural medicine fields. The programs are for people who want to make lifestyle changes in order to optimize their health, improve their sense of well-being, and increase longevity. The results of the natural medicine testing will show you where you need to make changes.

Lifestyle Changes

1. Diet Diet Typing will teach you how to eat the right foods for your specific Hauser Diet Type.
2. Activity levels Most people need to increase their level and frequency of exercise; or change the type of exercise they are doing to optimize healing.
3. Supplements Most people will need to add some dietary supplements in order to optimize their health and accelerate healing. Dr. Hauser will provide you with recommendations regarding what is best for healing your body. If you are on medications, often by changing #1, 2 above you can get off of your medications, but may need to take some nutritional supplements.
4. Hormones Testing your hormones is a great idea for everyone especially as you age. But irregularities may be seen in all ages. If you have low levels, you may need to supplement with natural hormone replacement therapy.
5. Stress and Sleep some of the lab testing reveals how your body responds to stresses. Sometimes the testing reveals that you need to make this area a priority and make some changes. Dr. Hauser will discuss this with you and assist you with making these changes.
