prolotherapy.injection.specialistsThank you for considering Caring Medical for Prolotherapy! Our goal is to deliver the awesome service you should expect from a world-class Prolotherapy doctor’s office. We pride ourselves in providing a professional medical environment where you know you are cared for and listened to, and where your Prolotherapist is passionate about doing what’s right for the patient. In traditional pain medicine, often people are led into poor treatment choices based solely on what insurance will cover, and feel like just another hopeless patient in “the system.” We hear this from people all the time, and think there is so much room for improvement in the field of pain management and sports medicine. For over 20 years, we have been driven to be different and a cut above the rest! Although we all live in a fast-paced, techno-savvy world, we try to get back to basics and find out what is really going on in your life, with your health, with your faith, and provide you with answers. Learn more about our Prolotherapists below, then meet them in person by scheduling an appointment. We look forward to helping you!

Prolotherapy Doctor | Ross A. Hauser, M.D.

prolotherapy-doctor-hauserMy desire to become a doctor started when I was a young boy. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to help people. Growing up in a modest middle class home, I am blessed to have been able to accomplish the goal of becoming a Prolotherapy physician. During one of my residency rotations, I realized I wanted to specialize in chronic pain, specifically to help patients get rid of their pain, not just mask their pain. Through the grace of God, in 1993 I was led to join the medical practice of Gustav Hemwall, renowned Prolotherapy doctor and truly remarkable man! From that day forward, I became a full time Prolotherapy doctor. Working alongside Dr. Hemwall gave me immeasurable experience and wisdom and allowed me to develop into an experienced Prolotherapy doctor very quickly. Some days I marvel at the conditions we see here at Caring Medical. You name it, we’ve seen it – from simple sprained ankles to complex total body pain issues. I am a full time Prolotherapy doctor and am administering 1000’s of injections every day. I feel privileged to be able to utilize my God-given talents to help relieve some of the pain and suffering in this world.

Prolotherapist |  Danielle R. Steilen-Matias, MMS, PA-C

prolotherapistMy first experience in healthcare was working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility with a primarily geriatric population. It was after this experience that I knew I wanted to further my career in the medical field and become a Physician Assistant. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Amherst, MA. Upon completion, I packed up anything and everything that would fit into my car and moved to Illinois to begin PA school at Midwestern University.

During an elective clinical rotation, I was introduced to Prolotherapy at Caring Medical and Rehabilitation Services. Upon completing my rotation, I had not only learned (and performed!) a lot about Prolotherapy, but about natural and physical medicine as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here as a student, and later, when an opening for a Prolotherapist became available, I was thrilled. I have since been immersed in cases of all kinds, with an extra special interest in shoulder pain and women’s issues. The patients who I work with have continued to amaze and motivate me, as I see them regain their mobility, strength, and active lives. I am truly so blessed to be able to work at such a great office with phenomenal staff.

Prolotherapy Physician  |  Timothy L. Speciale, DO

timothy.speciale.osteopathI was always fascinated by the human body and how it worked. As a young boy growing up in a lower middle class family, my mom who was a nurse gave me a model of the human skeletal body and I loved it. Although my Dad never graduated from high school, he was a great encourager for me to  go after my dream. I remember asking him if I should become a Doctor, knowing the time and commitment it would take. His answer was”4 years will come and go anyways. You might as well do something with your life versus watching Leave it to Beaver.”

I loved many aspects of medicine, so I was led to become a Family Physician. Being a Family Physician has allowed me to better understand total patient care. I did get frustrated in traditional medicine and always knew there was a better way to treat patients and not just put a band-aid on them. Dr.Gustav Hemwall ( The Father of Prolotherapy) came into my life and started training me in Prolotherapy in 1990. He changed my life and I will be forever grateful to him. Once I discovered Prolotherapy, I was totally committed.

Being a practicing Prolotherapy Physician for over 24 years, I have been blessed to help many patients with all types of injuries and challenges. I praise God how He has allowed me to utilize my gifts to help others.
