Can a smoker benefit from Prolotherapy?

Can a smoker benefit from Prolotherapy?

Does Smoking inhibit healing?

Smoking just like eating a poor diet, not getting sleep, and being a stressed out type A personality. All those things inhibit the immune system. Can you still get better with Prolotherapy while smoking? Absolutely! Will you probably need more visits than the average person? Probably. So it is likely if you stop smoking, you will need less Prolotherapy, and it will cost you less money. But if you don’t desire to quit smoking, you still should get Prolotherapy. A patient may perhaps take some extra vitamins while you’re getting Prolotherapy or some other herbal treatment, or herbal supplements that stimulate the immune system and which would at least optimize you’re healing with Prolotherapy. You absolutely should get Prolotherapy treatments even if you smoke or even if you have other health conditions that might inhibit some of the Prolotherapy. There are people that have autoimmune diseases or high blood pressure or diabetes who get great Prolotherapy results. Ideally, the Prolotherapy doctor may wish you didn’t have those conditions because those inhibit healing. But you still should get out of pain because pain really suppresses the immune system itself. It decreases one’s enjoyment of life. It makes all the other health care conditions worse because it is really a major stress on the body. I think having chronic pain really decreases your longevity. I think if they really studied it they would see that people with chronic pain, don’t live as long. So I take chronic pain very seriously and chronic pain should be eliminated and the treatment that eliminates it the best and the quickest in my opinion is Prolotherapy.
