Prolotherapy Doctors

Thank you for considering Caring Medical for Prolotherapy! Our goal is to deliver the awesome service you should expect from a world-class Prolotherapy doctor’s office. We pride ourselves in providing a professional medical environment where you know you are cared for and listened to, and where your Prolotherapist is passionate about doing what’s right for the patient. In traditional pain medicine, often people are led into poor treatment choices based solely on what insurance will cover, and feel like just another hopeless patient in “the system.” We hear this from people all the time, and think there is so much room for improvement in the field of pain management and sports medicine. For over 27 years, we have been driven to be different and a cut above the rest! Although we all live in a fast-paced, techno-savvy world, we try to get back to basics and find out what is really going on in your life, with your health, and with your painful symptoms and conditions and provide you with answers. Learn more about our Prolotherapists below, then meet them in person by scheduling an appointment. We look forward to helping you!

Prolotherapy Doctor | Ross A. Hauser, M.D.

prolotherapy-doctor-hauserMy desire to become a doctor started when I was a young boy. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to help people. Growing up in a modest middle-class home, I am blessed to have been able to accomplish the goal of becoming a Prolotherapy physician. During one of my residency rotations, I realized I wanted to specialize in chronic pain, specifically to help patients get rid of their pain, not just mask their pain. Through the grace of God, in 1993 I was led to join the medical practice of Gustav Hemwall, a renowned Prolotherapy doctor, and a truly remarkable man! From that day forward, I became a full-time Prolotherapy doctor. Working alongside Dr. Hemwall gave me immeasurable experience and wisdom and allowed me to develop into an experienced Prolotherapy doctor very quickly. I feel privileged to be able to utilize my God-given talents to help relieve some of the pain and suffering in this world. We call the technique used at Caring Medical H3 Prolotherapy (Hackett-Hemwall-Hauser). As a full-time Prolotherapy doctor, I administer 1000’s of injections every day in our Florida location. My practice has evolved to heavily focus on complex and advanced cases, such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, cervical instability-related conditions, nerve entrapment, neurological symptoms, and multi-body part/full-body cases. I have also personally picked and trained my amazing associate, Danielle Matias, PA-C, who is taking both multi-joint and single-joint cases and definitely worth checking out if you have chronic pain and want an outstanding Prolotherapy provider.

Prolotherapist |  Danielle R. Steilen-Matias, MMS, PA-C

prolotherapistMy first experience in healthcare was working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility with a primarily geriatric population. It was after this experience that I knew I wanted to further my career in the medical field and become a Physician Assistant. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Amherst, MA. Upon completion, I packed up anything and everything that would fit into my car and moved to Illinois to begin PA school at Midwestern University.

During an elective clinical rotation, I was introduced to Prolotherapy at Caring Medical. Upon completing my rotation, I had not only learned (and performed!) a lot about Prolotherapy but about natural and physical medicine as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here as a student, and later, when an opening for a Prolotherapist became available, I was thrilled. I have since been immersed in cases of all kinds, especially shoulders, hips, knees, and the pelvic floor. Since having my son and daughter, it has become even more apparent to me the amount of pelvic floor dysfunction that can develop during or after pregnancy and childbirth. Helping women get back to exercise and a pain-free lifestyle (or even just getting back to feeling like themselves!) has been a passion of mine even more so now! The patients who I work with have continued to amaze and motivate me, as I see them regain their mobility, strength, and active lives. I am truly so blessed to be able to work at such a great office with phenomenal staff.

Chiropractic Physician | Brian R. Hutcheson, D.C.

Chiropractic Physician, Brian R Hutcheson, D.C.I am excited to join the amazing team at Caring Medical Florida! As an innovator myself, I was drawn to the unique and innovative approach to patient care that Dr. Hauser and the team exude. Just like the team at Caring Medical, I strive to find the best possible treatments for my patients in order to help them heal and get back to doing the things that they love to do. I do not want to have a practice full of people in chronic pain! I am looking to get people back to full health! Yes, I do believe in the power of proper alignment to keep the body functioning optimally, and maintenance programs are needed for that. But for more serious injuries/conditions, I strive to find a cure! I know that my skillset combined with Caring Medical’s excellent diagnostics and treatment modalities will provide amazing results for Caring Medical’s patients!

My journey has been just that – a journey! I have been blessed with a loving and supportive family and I am so grateful! Growing up I always wanted to be like my father. My father worked in television in the city of Chicago and was incredibly supportive of my siblings and I. After high school, I pursued a degree in business management. Halfway through the program, I was hiking in the mountains not far from campus in Tucson, Arizona, when it hit me. At that moment, it was as though I knew instantly and deeply that I was supposed to become a Chiropractor. You may ask “why?”

My brother had endured progressive scoliosis while we were growing up and I noticed that he always felt better, was filled with joy, and was able to function better when he was receiving Chiropractic treatments. My brother’s scoliosis became so progressive that he required surgery to correct it.

After receiving the vision during that hike, weeks of business classes went by and I could not stop thinking about becoming a Chiropractor. After much thought, prayer, research, and council, I took the leap. I slightly altered my program to graduate with an Economics degree from the University of Arizona, as I still had a keen interest in business, while adding in the prerequisite coursework to attend Chiropractic school after graduation.

I had been away from home and family for 4 years, and there was a world-class Chiropractic school near my hometown in the Chicago suburbs, National University of Health Sciences, so I applied there, and was accepted! The first two years of Chiropractic school were particularly challenging, as I am more mathematically inclined. I had to study intently and to my full capacity in order to grasp the concepts – for what seemed like the first time in my life! The more I immersed myself in my studies, the fonder I became of them. My calling was developing into a passion, and that passion was fueled with tremendous purpose. I was so excited to go home on weekends and share what I learned with my family. I would practice with them and perform soft tissue techniques we were learning on my brother, and bring home all sorts of new foods, supplements, juices, etc. I was obsessed! At that time, I had no idea where this passion would take me.
